Deadbird "Twilight Ritual" CD $9.99 ON SALE (price is subject to change without notice)
Brothers Schaaf (Chuck and Phil) formed DEADBIRD in 2002. Chuck had been playing in Little Rock's own RWAKE (RELAPSE RECORDS), at the time, but decided to head back to Fayetteville, AR so he could start a new band with his brother. DEADBIRD then released The Head and the Heart in 2005 on EARACHE RECORDS (originally self released 2003). Many tours and a few line up changes later saw DEADBIRD complete their second full length Twilight Ritual. This was with the help of new bass player Reid Raley (also RWAKE). Firmly rooted in the underground heavy sound coming out of Arkansas these days (also see SHITFIRE, SEAHAG etc) DEADBIRD strong metallic riff-centric edge manages to sneak hardcore / punk, lots of southern rock melody, and even a few vocal harmonies into their tracks compared to their current contemporaries. Look for DEADBIRD to hit the road this Summer! The Ritual begins.....
